Local Information
The Norman Police Department presents a free class of the popular program entitled “My Body…My Life…” at the Norman Regional Hospital Education Facility, 901 North Porter, or the Cleveland County YMCA. The class is presented one Saturday each quarter, to allow working adult women the opportunity to take the program. The class runs from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. If demand exceeds availability, we will attempt to offer more classes as resources allow. The class is available to the first 25 women, age 18 years or older. If you already have a group of women who would like to take the program at another time or place, you can schedule a local presentation through the Norman Police Department by contacting the Community Oriented Policing office at the Norman Police Department.

This program is presented as a community service for the citizens of Norman, at no cost to the student. We wish to address the issues involved with violence against women in a proactive and positive manner throughout our community.
